With the blessings of our Lord Jesus Christ, right from the inception of our church, we have been conducting Sunday School and have become one among the best in Delhi Diocese. St. Stephen’s Sunday School continues to witness steady progress in its activities. Classes are conducted from Nursery to Class XII in our Church on every Sunday after Holy Qurbana.
As per the records, there are 95 students and 16 full-time/substitute teachers during the reporting year. Students, under the supervision of teachers, attend all diocese-level conferences and meetings. We persistently participate in diocese-level events and have been able to achieve accolades in Cultural Competitions as well as Annual Examinations.
Our Sunday School also organizes OVBS each year in which children from the parish and outside the parish take part and have a merry time learning and being part of various activities. Furthermore, Sunday School Day is also celebrated with gravitas and all students and teachers join it.
The teachers’ endeavors in inculcate basic manners in the blooming minds according to Orthodox belief and traditions, and inspire them with the imitativeness of attending the Church is praiseworthy. It is quite pleasing that our children are eager to learn and attend classes regularly.
